Christmas Season

The Christmas season also called the holiday season (especially in the U.S. and Canada)the festive season or simply the holidays, is an annually recurring period. The tradition of celebrating the birth of Christ on December 25 appears to date from the 4th century when Christianity was adopted as the official religion of the Roman Empire.The Nativity of Jesus, also called simply The Nativity, refers to the accounts of the birth of Jesus in the gospels of Luke and Matthew, and secondarily on some apocryphal texts.
